Helmets & Goggles:

I favor my Oakley Goggles and I am really hooked on the yellow inserts. Many times we drive through shaded areas of the forest and the yellow inserts always keeps things bright – but yet not too bright for my old peepers. Inserts can be changed when you prefer a different color and tear offs are a really great item to pack with you for those really dusty days. (For you NEWBIES – the helmet strap goes on the outside of your helmet. Believe me, I tried to do it the other way! Harvey saved me from stupid stupid!) The first time you gear up is an interesting endeavor – at least it was for me. ♥ Nancy

Helmets: The helmet is a MUST have. Wear always when riding. Gals, it is worth the helmet hair afterwords. Your mate is so absorbed in the fun, your wild and flat hair won’t be noticed! Just bring a hat to hide your hair for after the long days ride or don’t sweat the active woman look. I have been caught with flat hair when we decided to stop for a nice Mexican dinner after the ride! (I just hoped nobody I knew would recognize me )
